About the Author
Jeena “Chahal” Dhankar is a writer, poet, and devoted mother whose words bloom from the tender chaos of everyday motherhood. An alumna of Panjab University, she began her career with the National Commission for Women and now serves as Assistant Director at WCTM, Gurugram. Jeena’s poetry doesn’t follow form—it follows feeling, flowing from midnight feedings and quiet strength to moments of stillness and surrender.
When she’s not writing, she’s wrapped in the giggles of her son, Aditya, dreaming new verses over cold coffee and warm cuddles. He Calls Me Mama is her second collection—a celebration of motherhood’s messiness, beauty, and soul-deep meaning.
